Try blowdrying your hair straight after you wash it....It uses a little less heat than a straightener does...and instead of putting your hair up in a ponytail all the time (especially at night-- that's how you get the kinks) put it in a french braid!

you can buy a flat iron for your hair really cheap at wal mart that usually does the trick

get a superstar flat iron. It's the best way to straighten your hair. It's a little expensive. I know someone who got one on ebay for $75. I know other who have paid $150. But it's a one time buy and it's worth it if you want straight hair. And don't waste your money buying a cheap one at wal mart. It will only damage your hair more and the quality will never be the same
